Dr. Pearlman has held several prominent leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as Director of the Center for Aesthetic Facial Surgery at the New York Head and Neck Institute. He has also served as Past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and is the Founding President of the New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society.

Dr. Pearlman's outstanding contributions and dedication to his patients have been recognized through numerous awards and accolades. He has been selected as a Top Doctor by New York Magazine and Castle Connolly on over ten occasions and has received the Patients' Choice Award multiple times. He serves as a visiting professor, delivering lectures on rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, and the treatment of facial aging at conferences and institutions worldwide. Dr. Pearlman is also a Fellowship Director and Preceptor in Facial Plastic Surgery accredited by the AAFPRS, guiding top residency graduates in advanced training.

Driven by a compassionate spirit, Dr. Pearlman actively engages in humanitarian initiatives. He participates in the international program Face to Face, providing pro bono surgery to children and adults in China, Honduras, and Vietnam. Alongside his colleagues, he offers education on advanced surgical techniques to local doctors in these regions.

Dr. Pearlman is also involved in the National Domestic Violence Project, offering pro bono facial reconstructive surgery to survivors of domestic abuse, empowering them to rebuild their lives and regain self-esteem. As a member of the medical advisory board for the Little Babyface Foundation, he performs pro bono reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities, making a profound impact on their lives.
