R. Luke Sturgill, MD is a distinguished board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class and earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his outstanding academic achievements.

Dr. Sturgill completed an intensive five-year Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of Florida, performing over 4,000 procedures with a strong focus on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and nose. He further honed his skills through a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery, training under the guidance of the world-renowned Dr. Stephen W. Perkins. Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Perkins hand-selected Dr. Sturgill to continue his legacy at Meridian Plastic Surgeons, upholding a tradition of excellence.
