Dr. Joely Kaufman

Dermatology

Dr. Joely Kaufman, a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, serves as the Director of Skin Associates of South Florida in Coral Gables. Formerly an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami, she remains an active voluntary clinical Associate Professor, imparting her expertise in injection and laser techniques to residents and fellows.

Dr. Kaufman is deeply involved in clinical research at the Skin Research Institute, where she serves as a Principal Investigator on multiple dermatology clinical trials, including FDA pivotal studies on neuromodulators, fillers, and aesthetic devices. A prominent figure in Cosmetic Dermatology, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on aesthetic technologies and techniques. Dr. Kaufman is also a consultant to companies developing innovations in the aesthetic market.

As a recognized authority, she lectures nationally and internationally on aesthetic procedures in dermatology, covering toxins, fillers, and lasers. Her insights have been featured in prominent news and media outlets, including CNN, the New York Times, Vogue, and the Dr. Oz show.

Dr. Kaufman is dedicated to advancing the field and holds leadership roles on several boards, including past president of the Miami Dermatology Society, Chair of the ASDS Procedural Survey Committee and Research Committee member. Currently, she serves as the President of the Florida Academy of Dermatology.
